Camden completed her BFA in Lighting Design from The Theatre School at DePaul University in June 2009. Before The Theatre School, she attended the National High School Institute at Northwestern University as a Design/Technical Cherub in 2004.

Currently, she is the Resident Lighting Designer with Hubris Productions in Chicago.

Lighting design credits include Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune (Jeff Recommended - Hubris Productions); Inherit the Whole (Mortar Theatre Company); The Miracle Worker (Village Players Theatre); Blithe Spirit (Jeff Recommended), Twelfth Night (Jeff Recommended), and Macbeth (First Folio Theatre); Urinetown (The Theatre School, dir. Dexter Bullard); and Good Worker (The Theatre School, dir. Carlos Murillo). Camden has also worked with BAM Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre (with guest artist Megan Wells), and New Leaf Theatre.

Camden currently resides in Chicago. While enjoying a career in theatre, she works as designer and technician for Performance Lighting, Inc. Her work at Performance is comprised of corporate/industrial and concert events in venues ranging from small private parties to large arenas. Past events include We are the World, We are the Drum with director/choreographer Frank Gatson Jr., Celia! The Life and Music of Celia Cruz, Taste of Randolph Street (artists included The Hush Sound and Tinted Windows), the NARM 2010 Conference Keynotes & Awards, and Lollapalooza - Playstation '10.

In October of 2009, Camden was the lighting assistant to designer Allen Branton and lighting director Kevin Lawson on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concerts at Madison Square Garden.
